"Our Lady of Guadalupe" - Print Only

In 1531, Our Lady appeared to a simple man named Juan Diego on the hill of Tepeyac, Mexico a total of three times. She instructed Juan to request from the bishop they build a shrine in her honor on top of the hill. The bishop demanded proof of the apparition, so Juan gathered roses grown by Our Mother in the middle of winter, and when he went to present them to the bishop the flowers were gone. In their place on his tunic was a perfect imprint of Our Lady and is still visible in Guadalupe at Our Lady’s shrine.
